Ricoh G6 industrial inkjet printhead
The new Ricoh G6 industrial inkjet printheads model RICOH MH5422, RICOH MH5442 and RICOH MH5422 Type A, utilize Ricoh's high-precision technology to deliver high image quality and productivity. They have a wide range of ink compatibility and improve durability by enhancing the abrasion resistance of the nozzle surface. Ricoh has also improved system compatibility by applying separate cables and high-precision surface alignment.

The main features of the newly developed inkjet printhead:
1. High quality printing and high productivity
In addition to 1,280 nozzles, a 150 npi × 4-row nozzle layout, and a standard droplet volume of 7pl, the new printhead achieves high image quality printing by improving the accuracy and uniformity of droplet ejection speed and direction. Ricoh has also improved the stability of high emission frequencies, with emission frequencies up to 50 kHz providing higher productivity.
2. Enhanced ink compatibility
All types of inks are supported: UV, aqueous, and solvent-based. In particular, when using water-based inks, the printhead life has been more than doubled compared to its predecessor, the RICOH MH 5421/5441.
3. Enhance the wear resistance of the nozzle surface
Compared to the previous print head, the strength of the ink repellent film has been increased. This reduces the deterioration of the nozzle plate due to repeated wiping, providing stable image quality even after long periods of use.
